What is Yekja?

A clearer path in a new country.

Life in a new country brings real questions and difficult decisions. Yekja connects Farsi-speaking Iranians and Afghans with verified volunteers they can approach privately, questions they can share publicly, useful free items and community events—all in one trusted place.

We know how much a familiar welcome can mean. Yekja grew from listening to people who left behind a whole life and arrived in a new country hoping to build another home. Our aim is simple: for Farsi-speaking newcomers from Iran and Afghanistan to feel less alone from their very first days in the Netherlands.
